Expert Panel
The people who show up with a plan.

Maya Okonkwo
7 years experience
"I bring a white-noise machine and a feeding log every time. Parents of newborns are running on empty — the least I can do is hand them a full report when they walk back in."

across 1,200+ completed sits in 2025

Daniel Reyes
5 years experience
"Every child has a language. My job is to learn it in the first fifteen minutes so the rest of the afternoon feels like theirs."
Average response time
from request to confirmed booking, any day of the week

Priya Nair
9 years experience
"I was a fourth-grade teacher before this. I still know every trick for getting a reluctant reader to sit down with a book — and actually enjoy it."

Our Standards
Five filters.
Zero shortcuts.
We built our vetting process the way you'd vet someone to care for your own child — because that's exactly what this is.
1 in 8
applicants become Sitter caregivers
Because the bar should be uncomfortable to clear
Multi-layer background screening
Every caregiver passes a national criminal background check, sex offender registry search, and county-level courthouse records review. Updated annually.
In-person skills interview
Our team conducts a structured 45-minute interview covering child development scenarios, emergency response, and communication style. Only 1 in 8 applicants passes.
CPR & first aid certification
All caregivers hold current American Red Cross pediatric first aid and CPR certification. Recertified every two years, tracked in our system.
Reference verification (3 minimum)
We call every reference. We ask specific questions about reliability, judgment, and how the caregiver handles a child in distress. No form submissions accepted.
Ongoing parent feedback loop
After every sit, both parent and caregiver submit a brief report. Patterns of feedback inform quarterly performance reviews and determine continued placement.
Parent Stories
The exhale you've been waiting for.
Three families. Three different needs. One consistent experience.
"I booked Maya for a Tuesday afternoon dentist appointment. She texted me a photo of my daughter finger-painting twenty minutes in. I didn't look at my phone again until I was back on my street."

Courtney Aldridge
Weekday one-off
"It had been four months since I'd had a Saturday night where I wasn't listening for a cry. Daniel stayed until midnight, and my son — who does NOT like new people — was upset when he left."

Tanya Whitfield
First Saturday night out in months
"My partner and I both work from home. We tried to 'manage' our three-year-old during calls. Priya comes three mornings a week now. Our output doubled. Our stress halved. This is the investment we should have made a year ago."
